  • No sports, bad political commentary

Good sports coverage, however FAR TOO MUCH in the way of political overtones. Check yourself ESPN - you’re not CNN.
  • Slow and clunky

I get a lot of notifications and when I try to follow them the app is blank and frozen. This has been a persistent problem for at least a year and happens on both my personal and work phone. ESPN and Disney should really have higher standards. Doesn’t reflect well on the brands.
  • $50 and I can’t watch ESPN Deportes

Terrible! Tried to cancel but was too late. I hate this app!
  • Fix the ad playback!

I would watch a lot more clips if it weren’t for having to watch the ads. I can’t fault them for having the ads but at least make them stream smoothly! You spend 3 minutes watching a freezing up 30 second ad so you can see the 30 second clip which streams smoothly.
  • ESPN can’t make a decent app

Poor graphic interface. Very slow to respond and freezes often. Difficult to navigate. When watching streaming content there is no option to pause or even view what you are watching. No option for closed captions that I can find either. With the multitude of apps out there that do this you would think ESPN could figure it out after years and years of making awful apps.
  • ESPN’s name with high school newspaper level interface

When you hit a news notification on the iPad it opens the story in a small pop up window. Please make it so stories open full screen. It’s probably the worst notification/story interface I’ve seen in any news app. Other than that huge flaw, it’s great for watching videos. EXCEPT, even if you have logged in with your provider they are now making you watch adds. So I’ve already paid espn through my provider, and now they are forcing me to watch ads. That should be changed. So maybe it’s not great except that it says ESPN and is needed if you want to watch live sports. Whic don’t exist right now...

What a crap app on all platforms. Never am I able to see a video from ESPN+ the first time around. I always have to try 5, 6, 7, 8 times to be able to see it, doesn’t matter on which platform I’m on. It looses your login info from time to time and also requires you to re login to tour cable provider like if it clears it data. Pure crap.
