Stopped working

I’ve used group me for years. All of a sudden, it stopped working. I get notifications that someone posted something, but I can’t see their post. I’ve updated the app, I’ve updated my phone, I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Nothing has worked.
Very slow and photos don’t upload half the time

Very poor performance in terms of speed. Doesn’t upload photos half of the time the circle just spins.

I downloaded GroupMe and had to join it for my class at my school. We have to send different things that we complete such as quizzes and videos. My videos never send they’re very short I’ve tried updating and re-downloading the app and it doesn’t work. I signed out of the app to give that a try and it has completely kicked me out for some reason when I go to sign in it’s wanting to verify who I am using a completely old phone number that I don’t even have the problem is it doesn’t give an option to send a code by email which is completely ridiculous. Most apps have two step verification with phone phone number and email my email is current and correct so now I’m kicked out of the app. Customer service is closed and I can’t submit my homework. Thanks a lot GroupMe.

Uploading pictures to an event, the app crops the pictures into a square format. This cuts off a lot from a normal picture. The only work-around is to resize the picture much larger in another app, then upload it to the event where it will be resized and hopefully capture all of the info you’re wanting to share. Searching chat groups only goes back so far. We have several large chats and extending these searches back a month or two would be helpful instead of endlessly scrolling. Exporting calendars to ics, apple, or google would be awesome. Most of us have much more going on and consolidating calendars into one of our favorite apps is nice but there’s no way to do that here. Being able to share events to another group would be nice but outside of recreating it manually, there’s no way to do that. Some of our larger groups really need multiple admins to manage them properly. No way to do that either. Adding files to groups would also be nice.
Buggiest app ever. Practically unusable.

Cannot send messages or load it without getting stuck on a blank screen. Pathetic.

We use group me for work unfortunately. Very slow to use. Constant issue of taking its time to open or never sending messages in general. Same issue all across different users.
Does it work for anyone without crashing?

I have been an avid fan of group me for years. I used it in high school for sports and with various classes, I used it in college for group projects, clubs, greek life, etc. I loved it. Loved, key word. I have tried to use it for YEARS now as a teacher as an easy way to communicate with parents without giving out my personal cell, and I cannot use it ever without the app crashing daily. I am so sad because I love the format. I have reset it, deleted it and redownloaded, I have done every update. Help!

This app would be better if you could add recurring event scheduling. It’s annoying to have to add each individual event. Please update!
Constantly Failing

I have had nothing but trouble from GroupMe. I get notifications about new messages but when I open the app, the new content is missing. Happens over and over. I have deleted and reinstalled the app repeatedly and nothing changes. It’s not just useless, it’s counterproductive because other group members think it’s working while some of us are left in the dark. Now on about the 10th reinstall and it won’t even load.
