  • It's ok

It has much less information than Wikipedia. But that's not too big a deal. You can't fit all Wikipedia articles into a single set of books. On Wikipedia, articles are modified more regularly, and and can be modified by anyone. It also lacks some information on the World Book Encyclopedia. Some articles in Britannica are shorter than the counterparts in the World Book. I think you can bookmark pages. Just click the favorites button to the left. I recommend you subscribe for 14.99 a year. It has the article for Star Trek: The Original Series. But I'd like an article for Star Trek the franchise. I wouldn't be bothered if it had articles for certain EDM artists such as Zedd or Armin Van Buuren. Britannica definitely could have more information and more articles. It doesn't need as much as Wikipedia. When will the next update come? I still recommend the Britannica app.

I think the programming of this app have done well to function and for me, it doesn't crash. I predict that it would starting doing that if adding more features, such as bookmarking/page marking. It's a spectacular app! So much use of creativity put into this and other users need to start using their imagination to stay ahead! You're awesome!

My son did a report and wasn’t able to do a complete bibliography because you don’t have any information.

I love the Britannica content but the app is very outdated for the newer generations of iPhones.

When you open this app, you’ll be transported to the 80s... 1880s! Rimshot! Seriously, what are you spending money on? Rewrite the app.
  • Looked good for a few page turns

Tried it and seemed pretty good and then it popped up a “remember to take a quiz” popup and then the screen went black and began flashing in and out of the page. Seems too buggy for an app that wants to charge a subscription.
  • Good App, UI could be updated

Good information, better than 99% of the junk out in the world that “claim” to be of professional reference.
  • No bookmarks!

I love the content but no bookmarks. Really? Reading a 300 page article and I can’t mark where I am at? Unbelievable! My last renewal if not updated.
  • Poor Customer Service and Content

Encyclopedia Britannica content is sub-standard in every regard. Out of date, incomplete, narrow. This is a poor successor to the beloved book set of long ago.
