We just left Volcano National park on Big Island! This guide was super informative and helpful. We Loved it!!

We used it today and it was so fun to see the backroads of the island, we only did one tour and are planning to do more tomorrow! Enjoyed the guided tour on our own schedule, great stories and island history, LOVED the Tsunami memorial Park and NEVER would have found that on our own! Can’t wait to see what we discover tomorrow!!

Recommend by our Uber driver on the way in, bought the Volcano park tour and absolutely loved it! Definitely worth the money over going with a tour guide. Helped us go at our own pace, see the whole park, take the hikes we wanted and so on. Would highly recommend this app!

This app made our day at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park so terrific! We learned tons of facts we wouldn’t have known, and the gps worked great to point out relevant sites.

The app started slow in the beginning and sometimes it’s delayed (maybe reception issue), causing us to miss a couple of our stops, thus the 4 stars rating. Other than that, the tour guide was entertaining. He made the long trip seems short by telling some fun facts during the drive. The music was perfect between stops when the tour guide is not speaking. Overall, the app is great. Also, good for introvert people who doesn’t like to be around other people.

My husband and I did an island hopping cruise earlier this year and decided we wanted to come back to Oahu and the Big Island this time. We did the tourist thing and road a bus tour on Oahu and walked a lot, which was very good and all but rented a car on the Big Island and found a flyer for this app at the Kona airport. We are SOOOOOO glad we did!! It is PERFECT for how we like to travel! We love the history and scenery and to stop at as many places as we can. THIS APP DOES ALL THE WORK FOR YOU WITH THE ADDED BONUS OF FUN & EDUCATIONAL INFO AS YOU GO. we told as many people at stops as we could to get the word out. We also loved the helpful tips on where to taste the local treats and foods. Thank you so much for your app. We will def tell people back home and use it when we come back to the other islands. Mahalo!!!

We have used the Shaka Guide driving tour for both Kauai and the Big Island and found them both to be very useful and entertaining. The Shaka Guide directs you along the tour route and narrates along the way, giving many interesting and fun facts. It also guides you to many out of the way spots including great restaurants that a normal tourist probably wouldn't find on their own. The only negative comment that I'd include would be that sometimes the routes overlap or trace back on themselves and, at times, it can be a little difficult to determine which way the app is directing you to go.

The sound is not loud enough and very hard to hear

Everyone who comes to the Big Island should use this app! You will learn so much history about the Island! He will tell you where to stop and the history of the sites you are at.
