Even when it works, the product is just okay. The hardware itself is nothing special. This is by far the worst IoT product I own. The app is constantly crashing or bugging out and it’s impossible to get the benefits of the product without the app. On top of all of this, they are continuing to monetize and advertise Hatch+ subscriptions. I already paid $150+ for the product. Any added features should be standard, not added on for another subscription.

I love all the great functions of the Hatch but the music options are pretty awful. Would love to be able to listen to a variety of real classical or meditative sleep music vs the limited lame music they made just for the app. This is a huge miss and I wouldn’t reco it for this very reason. Especially because how expensive it is, I was expecting way more.

After the last update, the sound goes all the way up in the middle of the night and the light turns all the way off. Fix your app!!

Dumbest product. Congratulations you’ve made putting children to bed even harder. Light disconnected from internet extending bed time for no reason other than the company trying to pedal more products by subtly making offers. Sleeze trash product.

I hate this app. I have to force quit constantly and it takes forever to save my updates. Half the time the app doesn’t connect to the device and I can’t shut the alarms off. Love the device itself. Hate the app and without the app the device is an overpriced sound machine. Very frustrated and disappointed.

We really like the machine itself for our babies nursery, but the app is God awful especially since the update. The light turns on when we put it at 0% and it says it’s at 0%, you can’t save your own sleep setting the light sound and light always turn on, it’s just so finicky and annoying.

I hate this app. Completely unreliable.

I already paid for your robot light. I don't need another monthly fee service to go with it! Hatch+ adds are getting in the way and the app is freezing /acting slow on launch. I just need to be open the app and quickly move from white noise with light on to white noise with light off as I try to quickly and quietly exit my child's room. This was simple / speedy when we first got our hatch but increasingly is being ruined by attempts to get more of my money.

I don’t know why this keeps happening to us, but it does it both on my husbands phone and mine. When we open the Hatch app to lower the volume in the mornings, the app automatically shoots the volume back up. This happens several times before the sound actually stays at the level we want it to. What is supposed to be a gentle wake up for our toddler turns into him being jolted awake from several sudden noise level changes. My app is fully updated and I’ve even reset the hatch machine as well as logging out of and back into the app. My only complain about the machine itself is that it does not have brown noise, but the app issues are enough to make us replace the product.

This thing never connects to WiFi, their library of sounds is extremely slim, no custom sounds or songs. Once in a while it works though.
