The premise of this program was that it was “free” to stay. We always go in, explore, pay but that hosts are making it mandatory may cost you our membership. Especially golf courses, which we pay extra for, who will not accept a request without a tee time. We don’t golf but we have never stayed at a golf course without spending money…driving range, food, drinks, something from pro shop.

For one traveling in need of a night stay without the expense of a traditional campground, this can’t be beat! The membership fee will pay for itself in a couple of nights. Recently being retired we have stayed at venues while traveling that were more than a place to park. I will typically look for a place that offers food and drink to make it easier on both of us. We have stayed at some extremely picturesque settings and have met other travelers from around the country.

I think harvest hosts will allow anyone to be a host

I’m biased, but I think Harvest Hosts is the one membership that every RVer must have. It is the most fun part of every trip for me, and I still have over 5,000 more Hosts to visit!

You have to enter all your information to find out that your requested dates are unavailable even though you have filtered the information to provide available dates. Another app that takes your money and provides very little. Welcome to The modern America.

We have stayed at wonderful breweries with great hosts. We just expanded to the golf course options and have booked our first stay. Please keep expanding the options. I am spreading the word to campers and businesses about this unique rving experience!

We have been traveling for a couple months now. Mostly using Harvest Hosts we have been able to cross the country during the winter months with very little issues. I love being able to use the app to plan stays. And with the route feature, it’s even easier. The only detractor is the texting feature is clunky and needs updating. Otherwise excellent!

Had a wonderful day at LeMay Museum. We arrived at the Museum with someone already waiting for us outside. They directed us where to park and gave us instructions about parking and our stay. We went in the museum, had lunch and then enjoyed the view of beautiful Tacoma from our dinette. When going to bed you can definitely hear the traffic but otherwise, it was good. I would definitely recommend stopping here.

We just stayed at our first HH last night 4-14-21! We are traveling home to Indiana from S Texas. Stopped at Washington, AR and was Coulter Farmsteads 2nd campers! Brad was so helpful in arranging our arrival and Stephanie greeted us in the parking lot. Their Mercantile store was so clean and smelled heavenly and the farm was beautiful We got to see our first curly haired pigs! Our night was very peaceful and was a pleasant change from a campground. Highly recommend visiting them! Sandy and Gary

We used to spend the night at Walmart or a truck stop. Harvest Host makes finding a place to stay easy. We’ve had some great hosts too! Always a nice quiet, safe place to get a great night sleep without worrying. Highly recommend! Well worth the cost!
