Overall great for the true crime buff

I’m a true crime series watcher. So this is my home. There is a couple of things I would like to mention. Some episodes are missing from shows. Also the my list section should be updated to the most recent show watch not which one was added last. For example I’m watching Disappeared, I added that show to My List first. If the continued watching section is not current I have to scroll all the way down, mind you my My List section has over hundred show. I don’t want to wait for the entire season of Bodycam to air on Hulu before it arrives on the app. Shorter wait times. I like to mix in the old shows with the new. Whatever WBD do do not remove any of your old shows. Send them to Hulu with all the episodes. The advent of DNA and its ability to solve cases is unbelievable.
U guys ROCK. All my favorite shows in one spot.

Really though I know it sounds lame but everything I watch is all on the one program and with no commercials the price is right thanks discovery+

I was recently forced onto this ill conceived, slovenly app when MotorTrend+ shut down and moved everything to Discovery+. Since that moment I have not been able to Chromecast any one of the shows I previously enjoyed. It causes me to wonder what the + stands for. Is the ‘+’ symbolizing the additional difficulty and needless complexity that has added to my life? Is the ‘+’ a moniker to denote the extra helping of 1000 lb sisters or 90 day fiancé that I could now weave into my highly gasoline and motor oil based viewing diet? I think not. I’m sure there is an executive somewhere at Discovery that, in a fit of originality and to make a name for himself, decided that it was too much expense to keep a separate and functional application for the gearheads and that we would all be better off if we could toggle in between a good old fashioned engine swap and getting a polygamous baptism from a few episodes of Sister Wives. Those of us familiar with the 80s blockbuster ‘Ghostbusters’ learned early on not to “cross your streams”. Well, in this case, I am afraid combining these two apps has resulted in a chain reaction that has caused total protonic reversal. In layman’s terms, “I’m out!” And Sure! I’d love to cancel. The only problem is that I never actually signed up with Discovery+, so the mechanisms to stop this meaningless drivel from entering my home are and likely will remain a mystery. Under traditional circumstances I would likely close with something to the effect of, “Shame on you, Discovery.” However, I think the exploitation of a few morbidly obese women and the normalization of others on the fringe of society is enough proof to demonstrate that shame is no longer an effective deterrent. So maybe just a generic “Way to go! Good job!!” Will be sufficient to speed the Discovery channel along towards bankruptcy.

The app functions and has many features of other streaming apps. My one gripe is that the app doesn’t support a simplified log in when it is installed on multiple platforms. It still requires that you log in normally with your password when installed across multiple devices. The use of a QR code or other activation code when doing an install on another device (other streaming apps like YouTube, Prime Video, Paramount+, etc all do this and it makes life so much easier when installing on a Smart TV and logging in with screen-based keyboards). Otherwise, the app seems stable and I’ve had no problems this far.

Quit messing with us! If it’s on Discovery and is a original Discovery program put it on D+. Having to buy another app to just watch a couple shows I like but is NOT on D+ is ridiculous.

The app went from great to good. The reason being is that a lot of seasons were removed from shows I watch like Monsters & Mysteries, etc.
