  • Unable to Setup Autopay using a Credit Card

    Overall the app is good. I like saving money whenever possible and Drivewise helps but I am unable to setup autopay. I can enter everything up to the card expiration- only eight(8) months show up and the month needed is not there. There was a recent update so maybe there’s a bug that needs to be fixed?

    I have my phone on a mount and use speaker phone a lot does that go against me driving using phone ? Technically I’m hands free

    Let me start by saying, if I get a discount on my insurance app is worth having it. But…. I don’t use my phone while driving. When I get a message, or a call as I’m in the car and I ignore the signal, app records this as a phone activity… not cool.

    The app is very useful… if you can get logged-in. I’ve endured a lot of frustration trying to use established passwords and finally having to create a new one. The app isn’t good about recalling the password.

    I like the mobile app, I can see everything I need to on the app. It also tracks my driving, so I can get extra discounts. I can add or delete a drivers or vehicles if needed, get quotes, and see it all. I will say the billing is sometimes confusing, like when it gives you a discount, it looks like they pulled more money, but they don’t. They are always polite on the phone. So far no issues, I’ve been with them for 9 months, and I’m so glad I switched to them.

    We had 3 policies with ALLSTATE for over 39 years: 2022 had a pipe fail in the bathroom ALLSTATE paid to repIr the damage BUT NOT THE PLUMBING In 2024 the catastrophic ice storm hit Portland for 7-10 days MANY HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS homes had frozen pipes we were one of them. The Claims department especially RM claim adjuster has been very helpful even to the point of getting the restoration company to move on the repairs ( it has been 14 weeks I still do not have my house repaired) Then I was notified our policy will not be renewed..... Go figure! Thanks to RM for his support otherwise ALLSTATE has WAIVED us GOOD BYE......
