Silver Lining Lessons App Reviews

  • Ads don’t go away even after paying for ad-free

So frustrating! I’ve loved this app & love all of the recipes but recently I’ve been getting so many ads even after paying for the ad-free version for many months. It’s almost unusable and frustrating feeling like your money is being wasted on a subscription that won’t work. I have tried canceling & re-subscribing multiple times on top of deleting and redownloading the app all together and can’t get anything to work
  • Used to love it..

I used to love this app but then it started flooding with ads. I even purchased the subscription to get rid of them and still had them. Unfortunately now it won’t even load right for me to look up recipes. When it worked right, it was amazing, despite the occasional ad.
  • Lost my support

The recipes are great. The app owner is not. She will 100% go make a TikTok about you and blast it to her hundreds of thousands of followers if you dare to say anything that she doesn’t like on social media. I have the screenshots to prove it. Full on mean girl and I can’t be a fan of that anymore. Zero customer service/customer relations skills and even fewer morals.
  • Because I'm not an absolute idiot....

People literally gripe, complain, and moan & groan about how expensive gas is (that gets them to and from work) and how expensive groceries are (the sustenance of our lives), etc. and will turn around and buy $8 loaded teas and $7 mochachocolattes or whatever (DAILY!!). I live in a teeny town that's 20 minutes to anything. Shop opened that served loaded teas (she pedals Herbalife under the guise of being a 'nutrition' shop. I guess that's the newest pyramid scheme) and when I found out they were literally $8 for a 16 ounce cup packed with ice and 55¢ worth of Great Value drink mixes that she even uses the names off this app... yeah, I'm not an idiot. Spent $40 - the cost of a work week worth of teas - and I'll have all the teas I want for months.

I love the app! So much so that I paid for the ad-free version. What I don’t love is the fact that I am still getting ads even after subscribing!
  • Harassment of other people

I wanted to like this app and her FB page until I found out the creator has been stocking other water pages and harassing other women telling them they stole her recipes. I’m pretty sure many people have probably put the same flavor mixes together way before her. Watertok is huge right now and these same recipes have been made before she marked them as hers. Not going to support someone who thinks all water recipes belong to her. Can’t even be supportive of other people enjoying the recipes unless they buy from you or force them to give you credit when we don’t even know if these originated from you! You probably got the ideas from others and then added something to it and called it your own and didn’t give credit to anyone else, Not even Google 😂 I should give no stars but 1 star reviews usually don’t get posted
  • Too many pop up ads in app.

It’s easier to go thru a bookmark in the web browser than use this app. Tons of pop up ads make it really annoying to use. I get they need to make $$$ off free app but I’d rather they sell my info than deal with pop ups.
  • Too many ads

Although I love having all of the recipes in one place, there are just too many ads. When you click on anything you have to watch an irrelevant ad before the page loads. Maybe you could have an option to pay a small subscription fee to have the app ad free.
